Meet Your Yoga Mentor - Kirsten
I began practicing yoga as a way to recover from sports injuries, hoping to build strength and support my physical body. What I found was far more — yoga became a source of presence, confidence, and a deeper understanding of how differently every body moves.
With a degree in Sport and Physical Education and over eight years of teaching experience, I bring curiosity, education, and compassion into every space. My background in sport continues to shape how I approach movement — blending anatomy, breath, and biomechanics in a way that feels both grounded and accessible.
After completing my own Yoga Teacher Training, I wished for more real-world guidance and ongoing support. While teaching in local studios, I saw how many new teachers were still searching for confidence and clarity beyond certification. The mentorship was created from that experience — offering a longer, more personalized, in-person pathway into leadership.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to be an experienced teacher to apply for the mentorship?
No. This mentorship is designed to support teachers at different stages, especially those navigating what comes after their YTT. If you’re unsure whether it’s the right fit, you’re welcome to reach out.
Do I need to have a deep understanding of the asana or postures of Yoga?
The mentorship might be a refresher for some and an opportunity to dive deeper into the benefits of certain poses, however, it is encouraged that you have existing knowledge of the poses themselves.
I took my YTT many years ago. Does this still make me eligible for the mentorship?
It is encouraged that you completed your YTT within the last five years. However, we can hop on a discovery call and discuss what learning approaches might be most helpful to you if you do not fall into this timeframe.
